BURGLARS IN EKETAHUNA.

Eketahuna, October 27

The railway station and the Eketahuua Farmers’ Co-op. Association’s store were burgled at a late hour last night. In both cases the windows were prized open with a jemmy or a similar instrument to effect entrance. At the railway station two tills were broken open and 3s 6d obtained.

The safe was untouched. Drawers were opened and papers scattered- At the W.F.C.A. the office was ransacked -and £1 in silver taken from the till, also two pairs of boots, a pair of leggings, and a number of pairs of socks from the stock.
