FOXTON RACING CLUB.
A meeting of stewards of the
above was held in the club’s office
last night. Present; Messrs W. E. Barber (chairman), Dr. Mandl, <F. E. Jeuks, O, Robinson, C. Hunt, W. Howan, T. Rimmer, W. Gray, G. Coley, E. Ball, and the Secretary. On the motion of Mr Hunt, seconded by Mr Howan, it was resolved that all horses trained on the course be worked before 2.30 p.m. unless a special permit be obtained. It was decided on the motion of Messrs Hunt and Coley that Mr Messena be paid the sum of j£6 for shed and trough. It was resolved to invite tenders for flooring the weighing room and also for the erection of a ladies cloak room in the outside •enclosure and that a meeting of the committee be held at an early date to decide site, etc.
It was decided that the amount
/ of stakes for the January meeting be the same as last year viz. and the programme submitted by the committee appointed to draw up same was adopted. Other minor matters were discussed and the meeting terminated.
