MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.

A meeting of the Moutoa Drainage Board was held in the Board’s office on Saturday evening. Present : —Messrs Gower (chairman), Barber and Easton. The Clerk repotted the amount to credit of loan account was 15s 1 id, and to general account X,Bo ns sd. Since last meeting a further instalment of ,£2OO on account of loan had been received and placed to credit of loan account, general rates amounting to 3s id had been paid since last meeting, leaving outstanding 12s.

Accounts amounting to £77 15s 8d against loan account and £2l 5s 6d against general account were passed for payment. A letter was read from Dr Wall in reference to a block in the. outlet from his property, and the Clerk was instructed to reply, advising him that the obstruction had now been cleared away. Other minor matters were discussed and the meeting terminated.
