ARREST AT MOUTOA.

A man named Thomas Aubne, alias G. Storey, was arrested by Constable Woods at Moutoa, yesterday, on a charge of forging and uttering an order purporting to be signed by J. Murray on Dalgety and Co., Wellington, for the sum of ,£ls and obtained goods and money to the said value from J. H. Powell, storekeeper, Makuri. Accused was brought before Mr Hornblovv, J.P., at the local Police Court this morning, and remanded to appear at Pahiatua on the 27th inst.
