ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Dunedin, October 20,
A motor-car bound for the Oamaru races with Messrs D. C. Hazlett and Kett, well known sportsmen, ran into a post in the Northeast Valley this morning, owing to a steering-gear accident. The car was smashed, but the occupants escaped with a, few scratches.
Blenheim, Qgt.,2o. A man named was kicked in the stomach by an unbroken colt at Seaview, near Seddon, yesterday. He lies in a serious condition.
