THE HEMP MARKET.
We are informed that an offer was made this afternoon to a local miller of £26 per ton for spot, good fair hemp, and the buyer was willing to take as much fibre as the miller cared ,to deliver. We are further informed that the buyer was exceedingly anxious to do business.
The above is evidence of a rising market.
