' .... -- BasssAsne, Sept. 22. Later particulars in conn ection with the tragedy at Carron show that the girl Roberts was shot in the thigh, and her condition is critical.

After shooting the two women (Miss Roberts and Mrs Sutherland) Bradshaw waited till Mr Sutherland came home, and shot him.

He then rode to Croydon, had breakfast and surrendered to the police. The supposed cause of the tragedy is jealousy. Bradshaw told the police that he did the shooting in a temper.

Mrs Sutherland was shot dead by Bradshaw, and Mr Sutherland succumbed to his wounds.
