NO-LICENSE CONVENTION.
A No-Ticeuse convention is advertised to take place in Foxton on Thursday next. A conference of workers and sympathisers will be held in the Methodist Church at 2 p.m. In the Masonic Hall at 8 p.m., Mr W. H. Hawkins will address a public meeting on this reform question. Mr Hawkins is considered to be one of the best platform speakers in the Dominion and he should attract a large audience. The Mayor will preside and several musical items will be rendered.
