FOXTON CRICKET CLUB.

The annual general meeting of the Foxton Cricket Club was held in the Good Templar Hall last night, Mr Bullard presided and there was a fair attendance of members.

The Secretary submitted the annual balance sheet, showing a credit balance of 12s 3d, which was adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year : Patron, Mr F. W. Frankland; president, Mr 0. Robinson ; vicepresidents, Messrs Dr. Mandl, T. Rimmer, Hornblow, S. Messena and F. Easton; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. S. Stewart; captain, Mr W. Nye ; vice-captain, Mr W. F. Bullard ; committee, Messrs P. T. Robinson, Reade, Martin and Cook ; selection committee, Messrs Nye, Bullard and Martin; delegates to the Association, Messrs Reade, Robinson and Nye. It was decided to open the season on October 6th with a match against Himatangi. It was decided that the Austin Shield which had been won outright by the Foxton Cricket Club be again offered for competition among the clubs affiliated to the Foxton Cricket Association to be held by the winning club each year.
