The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: Hemp market firm, but not advanced ; business dull, and New Zealand offerings very small; New Zealand good fair grade on spot, per ton £25 15s ; New Zealand fair grade on spot, per ton £24 15s; fair current Manila, on spot, per ton, £2 5 10s; SeptemberDecember shipments, New Zealand good fair, per ton, £25 10s ; New Zealand fair grade, per ton; £24. 10s ; fair current Manila, £24. 15s; Manila output, 30,000 bales.
