AEROPLAINING.

London, August 14. Mr S. F. Cody (the aeroplainist who works under agreement with the British War Office) has eclipsed his own and England’s aeroplane record (a circular flight of nearly two miles) by covering four miles at Aldershot in six minutes. Afetr covering the plain with a figure of eight, Mr Cody continued his flight to Farnborpugh, where he stopped at the camp of the London Balloon Company of the Territorial Engineers. He then started, on his return journey to the shed at Aldershot. On arrival there, he brought his machine to a dead stop at the doors of the shed.

The aeroplainist received an ovation.
