BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at last night’s meeting of the Borough Conncil that the sum of los had been banked to the credit of the district fund account since last monthly meeting of the Council and the balance to the credit of the district fund account at the Bank of New Zealand mas £lO6 8s id and to the streets loan account ,£lO7 6s 1 id. The various separate accounts stand as follows : General account, ,£2B 19s 6d ; cemetery account, ,£10; interest account, ,£144 19s rod ; street loan account, ,£lO7 6s lid all in credit ; and library account ,£26 6s 3d ; reserves account, £go os 4d ; and sanitation account, ,£7O 5s 3d at debit.
