The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: Hemp market firm, with better demand ; New Zealand good fair grade on spot, per ton ,£24 15s ; N.Z. fair grade on spot, ,£23 10s ; forward shipments at same prices ; fair current Manila on spot, per ton ; forward shipments, £23 15s; Manila output, 20,000 bales.
