TAYLOR-CARRINGTON PICTURES.
In consequence of Mr Taylor and Miss Carrington being about to tour the Dominion again with their dramatic company, this is positively the farewell presentment ot their popular picture show. At the Foxton Public Hall on Tuesday night next they will exhibit their final programme the star item of which is styled “ Q.C.D. or Saved by Wireless,” this is a most realistic and up-to-date series of Pictures illustrative of the thrilling drama that was enacted on the ocean off the American Coast last January, on the occasion of the collision of the .Steamers “ Republic ” and t “ Florida,” when some hundreds of human lives were saved through the heroic action of the wireless telegraph operator, John Binns, who, though only a mere lad, stuck to his post even when his ship was sinking, and by means of signals by wireless telegraphy brought the s.s. “Baltic” to the rescue, and so earned for himself the praise and esteem of the whole world.
