TUESDAY NEXT.
At the Public Hall on Tuesday evening pext, Mr Phil Walsh, the American comedian, and his dramatic company, numbering ten artists, Will stage a sensational comedy drama, entitled “The American Tramp.” The Auckland papers, repotting on this drama when produced by the above company at the Opera House of that city; said: “ ‘The American Tramp’ is as good as any of the English and American pieces produced on our local stage. The story is a pretty one, containing abundance of sensation and good clean comedy.” “The Tramp” contains a splendid moral, and parents should take pleasure in taking their children to see “The American Tramp,” who has no home of his own, but leads an honest life. Mr George Tarr and Miss Fannie Paigne render vocal items •incidental with the piece. As it is some time since we have had drama here, a real treat in this department of entertainment is in store tor the people of this town.
