A NEW ZEALANDER ABROAD.

FURTHER LETTER FROM MR HENNESSY.

I We received a further communication from Mr P. J. HenI nessy last night, under date Chicago, May 31st. Mr Hennessy also sends us a copy of the Tribune containing reference to dredging. Mr Hennessy concludes: “I am leaving the city of pork and ‘ NoSunday’ towards the end of this week, for Detriot, Niagara and Toronto. As Toronto is off the Track, I will have to return to Niagara, and then proceed via Rotterdam to New York. I find great difficulty in getting any information in reference to our hemp industry. Everyone is so wrapped up in his own particular line' that they do not appear to have any time for anything else. The places above mentioned, except Detroit and Niagara, will be visited in connection with our staple. Again, good bye to all readers of the Herald.
