CHEAP COAL.
Owing to the stranding of the s.s. Himatangi, 100 tons of coal was jettisoned on Sunday in order to lighten her. The coal thrown overboard is being washed up, on to the beach .and collected by enterprising persons. Foxton people may expect cheap coal in a few days.
