OBITUARY.

It is with extreme regret that we record the death of Miss Edith Estelle Wilson, sister of the Rev. H. Fi Wilson, vicar of St. Simon and St. Jude’s, Rongotea, and late vicar of All Saints’, Foxton. The deceased lady had been in delicate health for a long time, and had recently been an inmate of a private hospital at Palmerston. Her untimely end, which came on Friday, was not expected by her friends, and has been received with many expressions of profound 9 regret. The late Miss Wilson has lived for many years with her brother, and materially assisted him in his ministerial work in Foxton and Rongotea, where she was greatly beloved by all, especially the children, among whom much of her time was spent. The burial will take place in Invercargill, the home' of the deceased lady’s parents. At All Saints’ on Sunday, the vicar, Rev. Mr Woodward, made touching reference to deceased, and several of the congregation were visibly affected. As a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased lady, the organist played the Dead March in Saul, the congregation standing the while. We join in extending our heartfelt sympathy to the relatives of deceased. ,
