WEDDING.

MAIRS—COKER.

A wedding which has created much local Interest was celebrated shortly after noon to-day, when the Rev P. J. Mairs (local Methodist Minister) was united in holy matrimony to Miss M. A. C. Coker, third daughter of, Mr Coker, farmer, of Moutoai Road. The Rev P. W. Jones, of bedding, performed the ceremony. There was a large attendance of friends and relatives of the bride and bridegroom at the ceremony. The bride and. bridegroom were the recipients of many useful and ornamental gifts. Mr and Mrs Mairs left this afternoon fpr the North Trunk Dine and on their return will take up their residence in Foxton. We desire to tender oUr best wishes to the bride and bridegroom.
