THE FREEZING WORKS SITE.
If the promoters of the co-opera-tive freezing works decide to accept the generous offer of a site from the Foxton Harbour Board, we are reliably informed that a property-owner is prepared to give extra stock-holding accommodation to the company free of cost, should it be required. Few, if any, freezing companies in Australasia have been proffered such generous gifts and shareholders should carefully consider the question of sites before coming to a decision. It is unnecessary for us to recapitulate the great advantages that would accrue to the company if the works were established at Foxton. We hope the sub-com-mittee appointed by the company to go into the question of sites will lay the:Foxton offer in all its fulness before the shareholders, many of whom are ignorant )of the special advantages possessed at the local port.
