BROKEN HILL.
STARVATION, AND BOMBS.
Sydney, July 3.
Violent speeches are being delivered at Broken Hill by Socialists and unemployed. One speaker stated that many people were actually starving, and they would have to hum down hovels in order to make employment in rebuilding. There was much talk of looting shops, throwing bombs, and drenching the streets with blood, if nothing was done to alleviate the prevailing conditions by Saturday. The Mayor of the town has telegraphed to the State Premier (Mr Wade) asking, him,'to provide relief food supplies.
