ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Gisborne, June 27. B. Deunehy, road contractor, aged 70 years, was injured about the head by a fall when working on road works at Mangapoike. The roadman carried him from 7 a.m. yesterday till 11 p.m., over roads in a fearful state. Dennehy’s condition is critical. FALL FROM A TRUCK. New Plymouth, June 26. Henry Cock, who was injured at the wharf through a fall from a truck, is in a very serious condition.
