HEMP MARKET.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows; The hemp market is very quiet, nothing doing, no change in prices, New Zealand fair on spot, £23 5s per ton ; New Zealand fair on spot, £22 ; fair current Manila, £22 10s ; June-August shipments, New Zealand good fair, £2 3 per ton ; New Zealand fair, £2l 15s ; fair Manila, £22 ; Manila output 24,000 bales.
