The New Zealanders had all the best of the first spell, scoring 18 points to their opponents 5, Queensland greatly improved in the second half, but the visitors always had something in hand.

The senior football fixture Albion v. Rongotea, played on the racecourse on Saturday last resulted in an easy victory for Albions, by 18 points to nil. Saturday’s match completed the second round of the senior competition and the positions of the teams are as follow:
