CO-OPERATIVE FREEZING WORKS.
A meeting of the promoters of the above was held at Pahiatua on Saturday afternoon. The site question was discussed at considerable length, and a committee consisting of the chairman and Messrs Wingate and Booth (West Coast), Payne and Brown (East Coast), were appointed to inspect the various sites for the works, in company with the best expert available, and report to the shareholders’ statutory meeting, which will take place on September Ist,
