REPORTED DISCOVERY,
Christchurch, June 6
Mr Clement Wragge received information to-day from which he infers that pitchblend (trom which radium is obtained) has been discovered in the North Island. He has also had a communication which implies that the same ore exists in the north part of the Auckland district.
