IN DIVORCE.
(Before His Honor Mr Justice Chapman, at Palmerston N.) GRAY v. GRAY. Chas. T. Gray (Mr Cooper) petitioned for a dissolution of marriage with Emily Gray on the ground of adultery with R. Kobertstein, co-respondent. There was no appearance of respondent or co-respondent. Petitioner deposed that he separated from his wife by mutual consent three years ago. In January, 1908, respondent was living with co-respondent as his wife in the Auckland Province. They were living under the name of James. When petitioner visited them at that time, respondent said she was agreeable to divorce proceedings. A decree nisi was granted to be made absolute in three months. Costs were given against corespondent on the lowest scale. MIENE v. MIENE. Erank G. Milne (Mr H. Smith) petitioned for divorce from Martha Milne on the ground of adultery with Francis S. Oldershaw, corespondent. Petitioner said he lived in Pahiatua. He was married in 1890 in Dunedin. Two years ago he noticed a difference in his wife’s demeanour towards him, and since then on various occasions had proof of her misbehaviour with co-respondent, who was a cabdriver. H. Wild and H. Naylor, cabdrivers, gave evidence as to seeing the respondent and co-respondent together on various occasions. His Honor granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months ; costs against corespondent on the lowest scale.
