THE HEMP INDUSTRY. The High Commissioner cabled at noon to-day as follows : Hemp market quiet, but moderate business doing. There is a better demand for Manila from America. Market is dependent on Manila reports. New Zealand good fair, £22 15s; fair grade, £2\ 10s on spot; fair current Manila, £2l 1 os. May-July shipments, New Zealand good fair, ,£22 10s; fair £2l. Fair current Manila, Manila output 19,000 bales.
