THE PRESS DELEGATES.
WARM CANADIAN WEECOME. Ottawa, May 23. The delegates to the Press Conference had a great welcome at Quebec. Madame Pellstier, the Speaker’s wife, entertained the ladies of the party at luncheon. The authorities escorted thewhole party to the Montmorency Falls. They were entertained by the Garrison Club, and cheered on leaving Quebec aboard the Empress of Britain. The delegates, fn a farewell message, gratefully acknowledged the warmth of the Canadian welcome. They added that Canadians had made plain that they, like Australians and New Zealanders, recognise that the whole interests of the British Dominions are common. “We trust,” they continued, “that Canada and Australasia will come still closer together and that trade and commerce will continue to increase.”
