A NEW ZEALANDER’S HOME.
Upon the question of defence there can be no partisanship among true patriots. No matter how we may differ among ourselves, we can all agree that no foreign intervention is tolerable or permissible, and that our country should be secure against foreign enemies. The lamentable point is that the Dominion is not thus secure. A drastic reorganisation of the defences of New Zealand is imperatively demanded, ' remarks the Auckland Herald, if we are to insure the national safety.
