AMY BOCK'S “WEDDING” PRESENTS.
AUCTIONED AT GOOD PRICES. Dunedin, May 17. There was a crowded attendance at Samson’s auction rooms to-day when Amy Bock’s personal effects were sold. These consisted chiefly of wedding presents and heir personal belongings. The wedding cake brought £$ 10s, wedding ring £2 ns, keeper £1 Bs. A gold and greenstone chain realised £3 10s, and a muff chain £6. Five bangles fetched from £3 5s downwards. The wedding suit realised £3 7s 6d, and a fancy vest 15s. A carved tray brought £2 as, and a gentleman’s dressingcase £6 ss, a lady's dressing-case realising A shaving mug, which cost about a shilling, realised Bs-. A pair of brushes brought £2 15s, and a mirror £1 16s. A dress-ring realised £5 15s, and four brooches about £2 ss. The articles were chiefly sought after as curios, and among them, also, was a cigarette case, which brought 14s, and a fountain pen, which was knocked down at 16s.
