AUSTRALIA DEFEATS NOTTS, London, May 7. The Australians defeated Notts by au innings and six runs. The home team scored 239 and 144, a total of 383, against Australia’s first innings total of 389. About 5000 people were present. The wicket was fast and the weather good.
