FOXTON HOCKEY CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the Foxton Hockey Club was held in Mr Perreau’s rooms, on Thursday evening. There was a good attendance of members, Mr F. Woods presiding. The annual report and balancesheet, showing a credit balance of The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr R. H- Baillie; Vice-Presidents, Messrs G- Stiles, O. Robinson and J. T. Levett; Captain, Mr A. Orwin; ViceCaptain, Mr G. Fowler; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr W. Cook. Selection Committee : Messrs A. Orwin, Fowler and Cook. Management Committee: Messrs Orwin, Fowler, Cook, Woods and Gordon.
Delegates to Association: Messrs Woods and Barnard. Ground Committee: Messrs Gordon and Cook. It was decided that the colours of the Club be red and white. The members’s subscription was fixed at ss. The Ground Committee were instructed to arrange for a suitable ground and also to purchase the necessary goal posts and wire netting. It was decided to try and form a ladies’ team, and a committee was set up to wait on the ladies re same. The usual vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
