THE BLACK HAND.
New York, May 2. Some Italians living in a tenement at New York, occupied by twenty Italian families, refused the Black Hand Society’s demands for a thousand dollars. The Black Hand thereupon fired the house and eight people were burnt to death, inclunding five children.
