MOUTOA HOCKEY CLUB.
The Moutoa Hockey Club held their annual meeting on Monday evening last. There was a good attendance of old members, and a number of new ones were admitted to membership. The following gentlemen were elected office-bearers for the ensuing year;—
Patron, F. Easton ; President, F. Gardner ; Vice - Presidents : G. Barber, T. Bowe, J. Walden, J. Puti; Captain, J. Puti; ViceCaptain, W. Smith; Secretary and Treasurer, W. Bowe ; Management Committee: Messrs Young, Puti, Smith, and Bowe.
It was decided that the Foxton Clubs be approached on the subject of forming an association for proper control of the game, and to draw up a competition scheme.
