THE BURNS-JOHNSON PICTURES.
At., &e"~Pußlic Hall, Foxtou, next Friday evening, will be exhibited the only authentic pictures of the Burus-Johnsou boxing contest. For three mouths past the pictures have been toured through the Dominion, and the first film being slightly worn, Mr Harry Keesing has just received a new copy to use during the remainder of the tour. Contemporary reports are unanimous in their praise of the film, one and all averring it to be the best ever shown of a boxing contest. Every detail of the fourteen rounds is clearly depicted, in addition to the events leading up to the great battle and the training operations of the two men. There are also included a number of miscellaneous pictures, including the much discussed picture, “Italy’s Marvellous Cavalry.” Electric light will be used to light the pictures. All other particulars are advertised. The exhibition will start at 8.15 p.m.
