FOOTBALL.
AWAHOU’S ANNUAE MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Awahou Football Club was held in Mr Hamer’s rooms on Thursday evening. There was a very satisfactory attendance of members, Mr R. Hynes in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The annual balance sheet, showing a credit of 3s, was adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr G. Coley ; President, Mr W. J. White; VicePresidents: Messrs O. Robinson, B. G. Gower, A. M. Wright, A. E. Shadbolt, W. Gray, R. W, Baillie, C. E. Bird, S. Wright, O- E. Austin, W. Howan, J. K. Hornblow, W. Dalzell, W. Hamer, H. Demant, and Dr Maudl; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Endell Wanklyn ; Delegates to the SubUnion, J. Reid, W. J. White, and R. Hynes ; Selection Committee, Messrs W. J. White, E. Wanklyn and the Captain ; Management Committee, Messrs J. Reid, P. Bird, F. Davis. S. Wright, R. Hynes, W. Hooker, and G. King; Coach, Mr W. J. White. The election of Captain and Vice-Captain was held over until the first match. Other minor matters were discussed and the meeting terminated.
