WEDDING.
BUOOMFIEUD —MARTIN, A quiet wedding was celebrated at the residence of Mr and Mrs E. j. Martin, the Avenue, on Thursday last, when Mr A. E. Bloomfield, of Utiku, was united in matrimony by the Rev. P. J. Hairs, to Eva Booth, third daughter of Mr and Mrs E. J. Martin. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a cream lustre dress with the usual veil and orange blossoms, and was accompanied as bridesmaids by May and Grace Martin, sisters pf ’ the bride, wbo were at-, tired in white embroidered dresses Mr Dixon, of Tararua, officiated as best man- The bride'wore a beautiful brooch, the present of the bridegroom. After the ceremony the party partook of breakfast, at Which the usual _ toasts were honoured, after which the bride apd bridegroom left for New FlyipoUth, where the honeymoon }s to be spent, prior to taking up their residence at Utiku.
