THE LIQUOR LAW.
A WARNING. Timaru, March 22 At the Magistrate’s Court, Bernard Clancy was fined or three mouths’ imprisonment, for supplying liquor to two prohibited persons—Martin Shepherd and Thomas Collins—who were each fined in default a mouth’s imprisonment, for obtaining liquor. The liquor was taken to Clancy’s house, where Shepherd, Collins, and fwo or three others were in the habit of foregathering to indulge in drinking bouts.
