The Manawatu Herald. Tuesday, March 16, 1909. AN OVERSIGHT.

Wk regret to notice that the name of Mr W. C. Nation, of Levin, was not mentioned at the recent conference to discuss the extension of the railway between Levin and Marion. Excepting perhaps Mr R. B. McKenzie, we know of no individual who for years past, has so persistently advocated this connecting link. We hope when Mayor Gardener forms his Levin railway extension committee, that Hie name of Mr Nation will be included. In our opinion, it would be an advantage to add Mr Nation’s name to the executive committee.
