Mr G- Gray wrote, resigning his, position as Treasurer of the Club, on account of Jeaving .the (district, and on the motion of Mr „J. Symons, seconded by Mr C- Robinson, his resignation,was accepted, with regret. Several of those present spoke in eulogistic .. terms of Mr Gray’s longt-aud;useful, connection with ,the Club* . . >.lt yras proposed; by Mr Hunt, and-seconded bv Mr ,0,/Robinson, <that Mr J. Symons be elected Treasurer of the Club—r Carried. . ,

The Secretary, reported a most successful meeting, especially from a racing point of. view, ..though not so g00d... financially, as last year, owing to the shortage of money, etc., the same as.is being experienced by other clubs. - A vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
