FIRE AT SHANNON.
Tire Albion Hotel at Shannon narrowly escaped being destroyed by fire at 12 o’clock last night, A fire broke out in the stable which destroyed the other attached outhouses. A number of volunteers, including members of a theatrical company, worked like trojans to save the hotel which task they accomplished. The licensee estimates his loss at about ,£4OO. A large quantity of stores which only arrived yesterday together with a gig and harness were destroyed. There was only a small insurance on the outbuildings.
