TENNIS.

A meeting of the Committee of the Foxtou Lawn Tennis Club was held at the local courts on Thursday afternoon, when it was decided to proceed with the annual club tournaments, consisting of ladies’ and men’s singles and doubles, also combined doubles. Entries will close on Saturday next, 23rd inst. Messrs Orwin and J. Hennessy were elected members of the Committee to fill the vacancies caused by the retirement of Messrs Gordon and Rough, and Mr Fraser was appointed a member of the Match Committee iu place of Mr Gordon. Mr Clark was elected a member of the Club.

The Committee will be glad if members will post their entries at the courts as early as possible, so that the handicaps may be alloted.
