The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market is quiet, small business doing, spot good fair, £25; fair, £23 ; fair current Manila, £24 10s ; January - March shipments, good fair, £24 xos ; fair, £22 10s ; fair current Manila, ,£24103; last week’s Manila output 17000 bales, stock New Zealand hemp 239 tons.
