POST OFFICE BURGLARY.
A case of safe-dynamiting occurred at the Post Office Parcels Post Department in Brandon Street, Wellington, some time between Sunday night and yesterday morning. It is stated that the stamps taken, ranging from 4d. to is., were worth about ,£66 in all, whilst the amount of cash removed was about ,£34. Of the registered packages purloined, three articles, a silver jug valued at ,£ls, jewellery valued at and another parcel of jewellery valued at ,£n were covered by insurance.
