THE MASTERTON LICENSING POLL.

Masterton, January 11

The hearing of the petition against the Masterton local option poll is proceeding this afternoon, being heard by Dr McArthur and Messrs Thomson and James, Stipendiary Magistrates. Messrs Skerrett and Pownall are appearing for the petitioners and Messrs Rollings and Ostler for the NoLicence party. It is impossible to say how long the proceedings will last.
