EVICTED TENANT ATTACKS SUCCESSORS.

An extraordinary affair is re £ ported from Whiddy Island, off the 1 coast of Kerry. A young man | named John Goggin, who, with ‘ his family, was evicted from his £ farm on the island a year ago, re- ( turned one evening a mouth ago and waylaid the present occupiers | of the farm, who are paternal i cousins of his, as they were return- I ing from a neighbour’s. The flames were noticed on board the battleship Brittania, and an officer and twenty men landed, and succeeded in extinguishing them after great damage had been done.
