SLY GROG SELLING.
AttheS.M. Court Wellington, yesterday, John Elliott pleaded not guilty to two separate charges of unlawfully selling beer without being duly licensed to do so. His Worship said there was no doubt about the evidence. Defendant would be convicted and fined and costs 7s, on the first charge, and on the second information would be convicted and ordered to pay costs 7s.
