Wellington, November 26. At the instance ot the NoLicense party a recount of the local option ballot papers used in connection with the Hutt poll is to be made before Dr, A. M‘Arthur, S. M., at the Magistrate’s Court Buildings, Wellington, on Monday next. Gisborne, November 27. The official figures for Gisborne are —Continuance 3258, reduction 2700, no-license 3749, valid votes 7036. Ashburton, November 27.
A mistake occured in connection with the official recount of the local option'ppll, a,nd the returning officer hcj tow issued an amended declaration, shows the votes for restoration to be 3085, and for non-restoration 2638. The position is unaltered. Sydney, November 27.
