London Wool Sales.
Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London House, dated the 24th instant; —The wool sales have opened and there is a large attendance of buyers. Competition is very animated. Selection fair. As compared with the closing rates of the September series prices have advanced as under: —Greasy merinos, per cent ; scoured merinos, 5 to per cent ; greasy and scoured crossbreds, roto 15 per cent. . The advances recorded above were already anticipated at the last sale liefST in Wellington.
